Effective Immediately – Temporary Restrictions
Reviewed January 2022
As our communities continue to navigate the effects of COVID-19, RMHC Eastern WI is following specific guidelines to maintain a safe environment within the House. Under these guidelines, we are currently accepting referrals for in-patient and out-patient admissions. Referrals are done through social workers at partner hospitals, with the exception of families who have stayed at RMHC Eastern WI in the past two years – they are eligible to self-refer by calling the Manager on Duty at 414.935.6510.
Any families who are eligible to stay will also need to submit recent negative COVID results (COVID test within 5 days of check-in) or submit proof of vaccination (2 weeks after final dose). We ask families to maintain CDC guidelines for healthcare facilities, which means wearing masks, staying socially distanced from others and for those that are not vaccinated, they should refrain from any indoor activities such as eating at restaurants, visiting museums or attending gatherings with groups of people.
As the comfort and safety of our guest families is always of utmost importance, we have implemented protocols to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 or any other virus at the House. We continue to work closely with our hospital partners and city officials to ensure that appropriate measures are being taken as the situation continues to evolve.
Anyone entering the House will be asked to answer a health screening. If any person has signs or symptoms of COVID or has had any recent exposure, they will not be permitted inside the House.
