Our Loyal Supporters help us Keep Families Close

Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin is able to fulfill its mission because of the generous support we receive from so many partners in our community – individuals, corporations, schools, churches, organizations and foundations. Working together we can keep families close when they need it most. Thank you! If you are interested in learning more about how you can help, please contact Bridget Kesner at bkesner@rmhcmilwaukee.org or at 414-935-6511.

Milwaukee Ballet’s Department of Community Engagement started working with Ronald McDonald House this past season (2018-19.)  What’s not to love about this partnership?!  The incredibly dedicated and positive staff, the magical facilities (from dream-wish-toy-room to fairy garden to warm and cozy kitchens) and most importantly, the wonderful children and families who are staying there.  We wanted to bring the beauty of the ballet to these families who are going through tough times because we believe that “the arts are a powerful force!” This is the tagline of our superhero series of children’s shows and we use it in all of our programming to remember the transformative power the arts have for each of us.  We’ve been able to bring interactive workshops, mini performances, and to gift tickets to shows to the kids and families staying in the house. We are looking forward to deepening our partnership with RMHC in the future.

Milwaukee Ballet’s Community Engagement programs promote confidence, a healthy lifestyle, creativity through performance, and accessible hands-on workshops.  By introducing ballet to audiences of all ages, these programs bring the power of movement and dance to life and inspire the lives of the people they reach.

Rocket Baby Bakery

Wauwatosa’s Rocket Baby Bakery prides itself on being a neighborhood bakery and they are focused on the community by sourcing local ingredients and donating bakery products to nonprofit organizations throughout the area.  Twice a week they donate an abundance of bakery items including loaves of their famous sourdough bread, ciabatta rolls, scones, croissants, and cookies to the Ronald McDonald House.  Our families are able to help themselves to the delicious baked treats and our volunteers use the bread to make grab and go sandwiches for our Lunch-2-Go program.  We are grateful to Rocket Baby Bakery for providing comfort to our guests and supporting our mission of supporting the health and well-being of children.

The Ronald McDonald House shares a special partnership with Kendra Scott both nationally, as well as locally at the Corners of Brookfield location. Kendra Scott’s Brookfield store has donated over $1,000 in jewelry to be used at RMHC auctions, as well as hosted three Kendra Gives Back events raising over $2,600 to keep families together. The Ronald McDonald House is also one of the featured charity partners with Kendra Scott allowing 50 percent of all proceeds of the Mothers & Families Charm to be donated back to the Ronald McDonald House. This charm was specifically created for RMHC and features a nest and an ivory Mother-of-Peal stone, which symbolizes RMHC’s mission to create a home away from home for families who have a child that is battling a serious illness or injury.
