Teen Volunteers (14-17)help create a welcoming, supportive environment for families by assisting with a variety of tasks based on the needs of the House. Responsibilities may include greeting families, helping keep common areas clean and organized, and supporting staff with special projects or daily activities as opportunities arise.

Teen volunteers are asked work 1 shift per month and make a minimum six-month commitment.

Hospitality Volunteers help maintain a welcoming, supportive environment for families by completing a variety of operational tasks based on daily needs. This role includes providing guest family support, cleaning, laundry, and general upkeep of the House.  

Volunteers commit to one three-hour shift every other week and are asked to make a minimum one-year commitment.

Family Dining Ambassadors help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for families staying at the House. This role includes supporting volunteer dinner groups, engaging with families during mealtime, answering questions, and assisting with meal setup, service, and cleanup.  

Volunteers commit to one weekend shift per month from 3:30-6:30 PM and are asked to make a minimum one-year commitment.

Why is this role important?
Weekends are some of the busiest times at the House. With more families onsite and limited staffing, additional volunteer support helps ensure our families receive the hospitality, comfort, and care they deserve. A friendly conversation, welcoming smile, and extra set of hands can make a meaningful difference for families navigating challenging circumstances.

Office Assistants create a welcoming and secure front desk environment by greeting visitors, answering phones, assisting with office tasks, and ensuring proper visitor sign-in and secure entry procedures are followed. This role supports daily operations and creates positive experiences for families and guests. 

Volunteers commit to one four-and-a-half-hour shift every other week and are asked to make a minimum one-year commitment.

Van Drivers provide transportation to and from the hospital and grocery store, while also assisting with light maintenance, trash removal, and restocking and organizing supplies. This role helps ensure families have a warm and comfortable way to visit loved ones

Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older and commit to one threeandahalf hour shift per month with a minimum oneyear commitment.

Family Room Volunteers help maintain a welcoming, supportive environment by greeting guests, assisting with check-ins, and general upkeep of the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Rogers Behavioral Health’s – Ladish Co. Foundation Center in Oconomowoc, WI.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and commit to one four-hour shift every other week and are asked to make a minimum one-year commitment.

There is currently no availability for this role.

Facilities Volunteers help maintain a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guest families, volunteers, staff and other visitors. Volunteers in this role will work alongside the Facilities team to support routine preventative maintenance, small repair projects, organization, and general upkeep throughout the House. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and helping keep shared spaces running smoothly.

Volunteers in this role should be able to commit to a three hour shift every other week. Shift days can be flexible based on volunteer availability and Facilities team needs.

Exterior Grounds & Landscaping Volunteers help maintain a welcoming, safe, and attractive outdoor environment for guest families, volunteers, staff and other visitors. Volunteers in this role will work alongside the Facilities team to support seasonal landscaping projects, routine grounds upkeep, and beautification efforts throughout the property.

Volunteers in this role should be able to commit to a three hour shift every other week. Shift days can be flexible based on volunteer availability and Facilities team needs.
