Hi! My name is Jane Ertle and I am the new Marketing Intern this summer. I will be handling all the social media accounts, including this blog, to keep everyone updated on all the exciting things happening around the House! I am very excited for the task of showing you all the amazing things Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee does, and introduce you to all the inspiring people that make it possible.
I am a junior at Marquette University studying Corporate Communication and Marketing. In my free time, I love to volunteer with campus organizations such as Marquette Action Program and Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee. Although I am from Cleveland, I have fallen in love with the Milwaukee community and the cheese state. The people I have met are extremely welcoming, and the Ronald McDonald House is no exception.
The House is a special place that can provide families a safe, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while the child is in the hospital. Giving them one less thing to worry about during a stressful time. The programs and services provided to the families go above and beyond of what you might think. One of my favorite things about the house is the Secret Garden and playground, where kids can escape and play outside. The garden is full of beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. It is a calming place for the families to catch sunshine and be able to relax.
I am very excited to share with you all the great things that happen in the walls of the Ronald McDonald House of Milwaukee. Be sure to check out the blog which will be updated weekly as well as the Facebook and Twitter pages!
