The families at the Ronald McDonald House are strong, persistent, courageous warriors that endure long days of caring for and supporting their sick loved one. The importance of sleep is vital for them to be able to continue providing brave, attentive bedside support at the hospital each strenuous day.
RMHC Eastern Wisconsin is receiving 68 new Tempur-Pedic mattresses from Tempur Sealy International Inc., on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, helping families get the best nights’ sleep, and giving them the energy to focus on their families. Tempur Sealy has had a partnership with RMHC since 2009, helping provide a comfortable and high quality night sleep.
These high-quality mattresses will help families get much needed rest after a long, tiring day at the hospital. This will help them re-charge so they have the energy they need to take on the next day. A team from Winter Services, who have donated plowing services to the House the past two winters, are helping with this project by donating their time to move old mattresses out, new mattresses in and help make up the beds in the rooms with fresh linens.
RMHC Eastern Wisconsin is committed to keeping families together, and with Tempur Sealy and Winter Services’ help, the families will continue to have a comfortable place to rest their head after a long day.
