RMHC Eastern Wisconsin events provide friends and family the chance to get together and have fun while raising awareness and funds to support our mission.
Throughout the year there are many wonderful opportunities to support RMHC Eastern Wisconsin at a wide range of events. We host four signature events each year; our Chefs’ Dinner, Golf outing, Gala and Holiday Boutique.
At the beginning of February, Joe Muench of Black Shoe Hospitality Group, along with a group of other renowned Milwaukee chefs, come together to create a memorable dining experience. Guests indulge in a multiple-course meal, each created by the expert chefs and completed with expertly chosen wine pairings. Guests also enjoy a silent auction, RMHC Family Story and the presentation of the Pihos Award.
Held at the prestigious Milwaukee Country Club, this annual luncheon supports our Family Meal Program. Attendees enjoy a silent auction and shop our beautiful Blessings Bracelets collection. A brief program follows a plated lunch at noon.
Join us for an afternoon of fun and philanthropy! Friends of RMHC Eastern Wisconsin come from all around the state to drop off the pop tabs they’ve collected on our behalf. From motorcyclists to Girl Scout troops, every tab donation helps us raise awareness of our mission to keep families together and promote the health and well-being of children.
Hit the course with us as we host our annual Golfing Fore Our Families outing at Ironwood Golf Course. After a shotgun start, golfers enjoy not only 18 holes of golf, but also a silent auction and games on the green. Our sponsors make sure there is plenty of delicious food and drink available, including hamburger sliders, breakfast sandwiches, vodka lemonade and a Bloody Mary Bar. Ronald McDonald may even make an appearance!
Our most elegant event of the year is our Gala. Guests enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a large silent auction before heading in to the main ballroom for a delicious dinner. Guest speakers, including past guest families, share what the House means to them and how others can support the RMHC® mission. The evening ends with a live auction, a live band and lots of dancing!
Start your holiday shopping early at the Holiday Boutique! Local vendors set up shop, offering an array of home goods and other products. Guests enjoy a luncheon featuring an RMHC® guest speaker and a unique fashion show that allows a glimpse at the season’s hottest trends.
Thanks to the Christmas Fantasy House committee and our friends at Victory Homes of Wisconsin, Inc., the Christmas Fantasy House is a true holiday delight. Decorators from around Wisconsin flock to the chosen model home and decorate every square inch, from the front porch to the Sweet Shoppe. The man in the red suit has even been known to make an appearance!
