Little Things Can Mean a Lot

June 2nd, 2023

From bikers to Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts, friends from near and far collect pop tabs all year long, with the biggest impact being on our annual Tab Toss Day. This year, in addition to collecting pop tabs, the fourth grade…

Teen Volunteer Spotlight: Reagan

April 14th, 2023

I have been a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House® since August of 2022. I knew from the beginning that I would have a great experience at RMHC®, and would enjoy forming connections with other volunteers, staff and the guests staying at the House. The happiness I feel when I walk through the doors is why I keep doing what…

Why I Serve – Julie Albrecht

April 12th, 2023

It’s every parent’s worst nightmare – your child is sick and there is very little you can do to help. My nephew, Brayden, was born with a (literal) list of issues*. He was diagnosed with a failure to thrive, followed by a slew of other diagnoses that kept coming, one after the other, for several months after his birth. He…

“The House That Love Built®” by Felipe Millán

July 15th, 2022

Felipe and his mother at a black-tie, biker-themed fundraising dinner for the House when he was fourteen.   We love hearing stories from former guests about their experiences at our Ronald McDonald House. No matter how long ago the stay might have been, it’s humbling to learn about the lasting impact our mission has on families. Recently, Felipe Millán shared…
